BREAST IMPLANT REVISION

Can You Relate To Our Patients?

"I’ve always felt my breasts were too small for my frame, and I want a fuller, natural look that boosts my confidence."

"After kids and breastfeeding, my breasts lost volume and shape. I’d love to restore them without looking over-the-top."

How It Works

There are two options when considering a breast augmentation: implants (silicone or saline) for customizable volume or fat transfer for a softer, organic enhancement using liposuction-harvested fat from areas like your abdomen or thighs.

Part One: The Consultation

We’ll spend an hour diving into your goals—size (from subtle to dramatic), projection (how far they extend), and feel (soft or firm). For implants, we’ll explore silicone (natural feel) vs. saline (adjustable), and placement. For fat transfer, we’ll identify donor sites and discuss how much volume is realistic. Using 3D imaging, you’ll preview potential outcomes.

Under general anesthesia, implant augmentation (2-3 hours) involves incisions under the breast, around the areola, or in the armpit, with implants placed precisely for symmetry. Fat transfer (3-4 hours) starts with liposuction, followed by careful injection into the breasts. You’ll head home same day with a support bra and aftercare plan, including pain meds and incision care.

Rest with limited arm movement for 48-72 hours—think no lifting or stretching. Swelling and tightness peak at 3-5 days, easing by week two. Most resume work in 7-14 days (sooner for desk jobs), avoiding strenuous exercise for 4-6 weeks. Implants settle into their final shape by 3-6 months; fat transfer results stabilize as some fat naturally absorbs.

Common Patient Concerns

“How long until I’m back to normal?”

Light activities resume in 1-2 weeks; full exercise in 4-6 weeks. Implants drop and soften over months; fat transfer refines as swelling fades. We’ll map your timeline.

Expect mild to moderate soreness—like a tough chest workout—most intense for 3-5 days. Pain meds and rest keep it manageable; fat transfer may add donor-site discomfort that fades fast.

Implant scars (1-2 inches) hide in natural folds and fade in 6-12 months with silicone gel and sunscreen (we provide both). Fat transfer leaves tiny, near-invisible marks.

What Our Patients Are Saying About Their BREAST IMPLANT REVISION
